Your Art Deserves a
Beautiful Website

ArtSiteMaker is a portfolio builder made specifically for artists. Create and manage your gallery with an easy-to-use admin panel, then publish a fast, professional website that works anywhere.

No coding required, no monthly platform fees, and you own everything.

What You Get

A Two-Part System

ArtSiteMaker

  • The tool that builds your site
  • Runs on your computer or server
  • Edit, organize, and manage

Your Portfolio

  • Your content, images, and settings
  • Simple files you can move anywhere
  • Beautiful gallery for the world to see

The Result: A static website built from HTML, CSS, and JavaScript—no complex server setup needed. Upload to any web host, CDN, or cloud platform.

Quick Start

1 Install the Builder

git clone https://github.com/teamzork/artis.git cd artis-tablinum pnpm install

2 Launch

pnpm dev

This starts two things:

  • Admin Panel at http://localhost:4322 — where you manage everything
  • Your Portfolio at http://localhost:4321 — preview how it looks

3 Set Up Your Content

When you first open the admin panel, choose:

  • Start with Sample Content — See how it works with example artwork
  • Start Fresh — Begin with an empty gallery

How It Works

Create in the Admin Panel

The admin panel is your control center for everything:

  • Dashboard — See your stats and publish changes
  • Gallery — Upload artwork, add titles, descriptions, prices
  • Collections — Group pieces into series or categories
  • Pages — Edit your About page and other content
  • Settings — Choose your theme, customize colors and fonts

Images Made Easy

Just drag and drop your artwork. The system automatically:

  • Creates multiple sizes (thumbnail, gallery, full-screen)
  • Optimizes for fast loading
  • Stores locally or in the cloud (your choice)

No Database, Just Files

All your content lives in simple text files (YAML format) that you can read, edit, or back up anywhere. Your images are stored as standard JPEG, PNG, or WebP files.

  • Human-readable — Edit content with any text editor
  • Version control — Track changes with Git
  • Portable — Move your entire site as a folder
  • No lock-in — Standard formats work everywhere

Your Published Site: Pure HTML + CSS + JavaScript

What gets built: A complete, static website—just like hand-coding, but automated.

No server-side code

No PHP, no Node.js runtime

No database queries

Nothing slowing things down

Works on any basic web hosting

Simple file serving

Fast, secure, and reliable

Static sites are bulletproof

Deploy Anywhere

Upload the built files to:

Cloudflare Pages — Free, global CDN
Netlify — Drag-and-drop deployment
Vercel — Instant hosting
Any traditional host — FTP upload
AWS S3, Google Cloud, Azure

If it can serve HTML files, it can host your Artis portfolio.
